The presentation was named “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly – Doing Business in the United Arab Emirates & the Gulf”.
The presentation was focussed on understanding the current climate we work in & how to overcome all the obstacles whilst trying to make safe profitable sales.
Key discussion points including the challenges Accountants face with the never ending daily hurdles of ensuring business is done with clients ensuring prompt settlement of their bills. We focussed on sound Credit Management techniques for the essential well-being of the business. Included in the session where the use of simple logical techniques to assist clients in improving their processes & increase their competency in Credit Management with the ultimate target of safe profitable sales.
We also looked at Credit Management technology platforms to increase efficiency / productivity and general client experience.
The presentation was very interactive with regular questions from the floor both during the presentation and at the end.
The special guest speaker was Andy Yiacoumi, Managing Director & Co-founder of CMS Credit Management Services LLC.
